Questions about Club Membership:
I was an existing member before 1st September 2011, how are the changes to Membership going to affect me?
Answer
Effective 1st October 2011, the Club will combine the existing Crown and Sovereign memberships to create a single all-inclusive “CLUB Plus” membership. All existing swimming members will move to our “Swimming Plus” membership. The cut off date for “Club Plus” and “Swim Plus” eligibility was 1st September 2011.
Club Plus will be our premium membership package giving existing members only, access to all of the Club’s facilities, including: the fitness suite, all aerobics, circuits and aqua aerobics classes free of charge, subject to availability, use of the Swimming Pool during all available times according to the Club program. It also includes use of the Club’s all weather tennis courts between April and August.
Swimming Plus will allow existing members only, to use the Swimming Pool during all available times according to the Club program along with Aerobics, Circuits and Aqua Aerobics classes free of charge, subject to availability.

Do you have minimum term contracts?
Answer
No, Charterhouse Club does not tie its members into minimum term contracts, From September 1st 2011 all new memberships are paid for by monthly Direct Debit.
We do ask that members who wish to leave give the Club 30 days notice where possible.
As a “Club” Member do I have to pay for exercise classes?
Answer
No, all exercise classes are included in your “Club” membership, (“Club Swim) Members are able to attended group exercise classes at a charge of £5.00 per Class
As a Club Swim Member can I use the other facilities at the Club?
Answer
Yes, although you will be charged for the individual activity at the current advertised rate.
How do I book a class?
Answer
Bookings can be made in person at reception or by telephone.
One may book for themselves or their linked member only.
Activities with a start time of between 6.30am and 12.30pm can be booked 30mins after the Club opens, 7 days prior to the activity.
Activities with a start time after 12.30pm can be booked from 12.00pm, 7 days prior to the activity.
As a Member can I bring guests to the Club?
Answer
Yes, you can bring as many guests as you like as long as they are accompanied by a member. Members bring guests can only book activities 24 hrs. in advance of the class timetable
Is the cost of the Crèche included in my membership fee?
Answer
No, if you would like to use the crèche you must register your child with the crèche manager. A charge is payable for each visit.
