Early Booking Discounts now available
Charterhouse Summer Club is based in the stunning grounds of Charterhouse and we offer action packed days for children aged 4 – 11years as well as a wide variety of intensive courses all delivered in a fun-filled, safe and stimulating environment.
We take bookings for single days or for the whole week and if you book before Tuesday 5th June you will receive 10% discount on everything booked!
Spaces are limited so book early to avoid any disappointment. We also take a range of childcare vouchers – contact the Summer Club Manager for further details on how to book using theses.

Summer Ball 7th July 2012

We are delighted to invite you to the Charterhouse Club Summer Ball on the 7th July 2012 in our spectacular Hall, a grand oak panelled room in the heart of the old school. This black tie and cocktail dress event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy and evening of good food, good company, and plenty of dancing to a great live band.
The evening will include a sparkling drinks reception in the monastic beauty of Scholars Court, splendid three course dinner with coffee, half a bottle of wine per person and a live band with dancing. Other than drinks, there is nothing else to pay for once you’ve bought your ticket.

Dinner to be served at 8pm
Live band and dancing 9.30pm
Carriages at midnight
Ticket price – £60.00
Table of 8 ticket price – £480.00

Bookings can be made at the Charterhouse Club reception by completing a “Booking Form” and making payment.
Alternatively, please print off the “booking form” below and send it together with a cheque. Please follow the instructions on the form.
Tickets cannot be reserved without payment. Tickets will be issued and sent out in early June.

Adult Tennis Lessons – Thursday Mornings

New classes starting for Adults from May.
Beginners 9.30am – 10.30am
The beginner classes provide a way for adults to learn the basic skills of the game in a welcoming, dynamic and fun environment. Our play and learn philosophy aims to get players into game play scenarios right from day one while also learning basic techniques.
Intermediates 10.30am – 11.30am
If you know the basics but want to take your game to the next level by learning more advanced techniques and tactics, this is the right class as well as getting some game play under your belt. All of our sessions are great for socialising and meeting fellow tennis players.
New 6 week course running as follows:
Thursday 3rd, 10th, 24th & 31st May (excludes 17th May)
Thursday 14th & 21st June (excludes 7th June)
£45.00 members / £55.00 Non-members

Please note this course will be outside and will go ahead in all weathers.
Zumba with Liz 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Start the weekend and Join Liz for some heart pumping sounds and a great atmosphere every Friday 18.30-19.15. Class starts on 20th April. Come and join the party; follow hypnotic Latin rhythms & easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program.

Junior Bouldering Competition – Results

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Junior Climbing Club Bouldering Competition this March
The routes set for this competition were much harder than before and we hope you enjoyed the new challenges set. Thank you to everyone who competed and well done.
We had 3 people tie for 1st place with 84 points scored in the over 13yrs catagory: Adam McCarthy, Dominic Romana & Elliot Thornton
And coming 1st for the under 13yrs category with 76 points – Matthew Patto
Prizes will be presented when they are next in Junior club.
